BYD Connect Compatibility by Model and Feature

Compatibility has two layers: whether BYD Connect can link the vehicle, and which data or commands that vehicle, market and account expose. A compatible model may still omit a particular sensor or remote command.

What you can do

What confirmed compatibility means

Confirmed means the core account-linking and owner workflow has been verified for at least one vehicle in that model family. It does not guarantee that every trim, firmware, country or command behaves identically.

BYD Connect reads reported capabilities and keeps unavailable controls out of the interface. Live tyre pressure, cabin temperature, location, charge scheduling and seat controls are examples of fields that can vary.

How to verify your vehicle safely

Start the trial, link the BYD account, select the vehicle and review Home, Vehicle and Controls. Test only a safe, reversible command while you can see the car. If a capability is missing, send the model, market and software details to support without sharing your password or command PIN.

Frequently asked questions

Is Sealion 7 supported?

It is currently listed as pending confirmation rather than promised as compatible.

Why does another owner have more controls?

Capabilities can vary by market, trim, firmware, account configuration and BYD service availability.

Will linking sign me out of the official app?

BYD can limit concurrent sessions. A dedicated secondary BYD login is recommended where your account supports one.
