BYD Battery Health and State of Health Tracker

BYD Connect brings battery-health context into the same place as trips and charges. Follow estimated State of Health (SoH), calibration history and the charging samples behind the result.

What you can do

An estimate with its evidence visible

Battery capacity is difficult to infer from normal connected-car data. BYD Connect distinguishes manually entered, model-based and empirical estimates, and shows when a value is based on qualifying charge samples.

The empirical method looks at energy added across meaningful state-of-charge changes. Small, interrupted or noisy sessions can be rejected. Results are still estimates; the vehicle's battery-management system and a professional diagnostic remain the authoritative sources.

Designed for LFP ownership questions

LFP voltage remains flat across much of its charge range, so an occasional full charge can help the BMS regain a top reference. The app tracks long gaps and explains calibration without treating normal estimation drift as proven degradation.

Frequently asked questions

Does the app read an official BYD SoH value?

Not on every vehicle. BYD Connect clearly labels estimated values and should not be treated as a dealer diagnostic.

Why are some charge sessions excluded?

Small, interrupted or unusually slow sessions introduce too much uncertainty for useful capacity estimation.

Should an LFP BYD always stay at 100%?

No. An occasional full charge may help calibration, but storage and charging habits should follow the vehicle manual for your model and market.
