BYD Data Sync, Backup and Export
Use the same BYD Connect garage on phone, desktop and the car browser, while keeping portable backup and export options for your trip and charging history.

Cross-device sync without losing vehicle-specific settings
Signed-in accounts sync the garage and associated history across supported devices. Settings are scoped so device preferences, account preferences and vehicle values do not overwrite one another indiscriminately.
The web app, Android and iOS shells share the account data, while the car browser can use QR pairing when normal sign-in popups are unreliable. Supported live status can also be shared with the Wear OS companion.
Backups and portable files remain available
Optional Google Drive backups can be created, listed, restored and deleted from the app. A full JSON export provides a portable local backup, while trip CSV export and charge CSV import or export support spreadsheet workflows.
Google Drive is optional. Account deletion removes server-side vehicle data and saved secrets as described in the privacy and deletion pages; files already exported to your device or Drive remain under your control.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use BYD Connect on more than one device?
Yes. Sign into the same account to sync supported cars, trips, charges, settings and Places.
Is Google Drive required?
No. Google Drive backup is optional, and email/password accounts can still use BYD Connect and local JSON export.
Can I export trip data?
Yes. The app supports portable JSON backup and trip CSV export, plus charge CSV import and export.
