BYD Efficiency Tracker, Trends and Driving Score
See how your own BYD performs beyond the dashboard's rolling average. BYD Connect compares completed drives, shows kWh/100 km and builds an Efficiency Score around the history of your car.
What you can do
- Per-trip kWh/100 km and electricity use
- A 0–10 Efficiency Score adapted to your vehicle history
- Monthly trends, weekday and hourly patterns, and personal records
- Range estimates plus optional same-model and community efficiency comparisons
Compare like with like
A single dashboard average can hide the difference between motorway, city and short cold-start driving. Trip details and trend views make those differences visible so you can judge changes in speed, weather, tyres or route with more context.
The Score is personal rather than a universal laboratory rating: your most efficient qualifying trips establish the top of your scale and your least efficient trips establish the bottom.
Short trips are treated carefully
Very short drives can show extreme efficiency because cabin conditioning and start-up energy dominate a small distance. BYD Connect excludes trips below the configured threshold from Score calculations and reports stationary consumption separately where possible.
Frequently asked questions
Why does BYD Connect differ from the car display?
The vehicle may show a rolling window while BYD Connect calculates completed-trip values from the data available for that drive.
Is a 10 the same for every BYD?
No. The Efficiency Score is normalized to the history of your car, so it is best for comparing your own drives.
Can I see seasonal changes?
Trend and pattern views help reveal monthly and seasonal changes once enough trip history has accumulated.
