Remote commands can affect a real vehicle. BYD Connect verifies the command PIN, reports success or failure, and does not claim a control is available merely because another BYD model supports it.
Commands depend on BYD's connected services, the vehicle being online and regional account support. A command can be delayed or rejected, so confirm important actions at the vehicle.
Useful routines without hiding limitations
Climate schedules can precondition the cabin before departure, while supported smart-charge schedules can use start, end, repeat-day and departure settings. Battery heating can prepare supported vehicles for faster charging. Experimental or unreliable operations are labelled as such rather than presented as guaranteed functionality.
